WMBD/WYZZ – BLOOMINGTON - The jury in Jeff Pelo's trial is hearing from the first witnesses.  A woman who prosecutors say Pelo stalked for a year did take the stand.  Tuesday, the jury heard two very different accounts of the former Bloomington Police Sergeant.  Prosecutors say Pelo stalked and then attacked his victims. Prosecutors also say Pelo used his job as an officer to spot young women, track them, and rape them.  Pelo is charged with four rapes dating back to 2002.   Defense lawyers say Pelo is not the man police are looking for.  Pelo's lead attorney says investigators did not find a definitive link to his client. After two years of waiting, and almost a week of jury issues, the trial began Tuesday. Pelo has  pleaded not guilty to 35 counts of rape, stalking and burglary.
