The big story for today will be the windy conditions, with wind speeds hitting 15-20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph at times. We look dry for Thursday and most of Friday before a quick hitting clipper moves through Friday night/Saturday morning. The shelving and fixtures manufacturing plant has been bought by a Spanish company called Mecalux. Union employees were notified about a possible shut down last week. in Little Rock, Arkansas.The Arkansas’ Governor and CAT announce they
will now build motor graders in the CapitolCity. The new 70,000 square foot operation will
allow CAT's Decatur plant to expand and focus just on
mining trucks.The Little Rock location will bring 600 jobs and
should be up and running by early 2010.
